Developing Nigeria's Tourism Sector: A Key to Economic Diversification - Hon. Bosun Oladele

 




Hon. Bosun George Oladele, a seasoned politician and lawyer, has emphasized the importance of developing Nigeria's tourism sector to shift away from a mono-economy. Speaking at the 2025 Ìyámopo annual hill pilgrimage climbing, which he modernized and fully sponsored during his tenure in the National Assembly, Hon. Oladele highlighted the potential benefits of a well-developed tourism industry.


According to Hon. Bosun Oladele, a developed tourism sector would significantly improve Nigeria's economic landscape, benefiting all citizens. He noted that his efforts to secure UNESCO international recognition for the Ìyámopo hill pilgrimage demonstrate his commitment to promoting Nigeria's cultural heritage.


Hon. Bosun Oladele commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his policies aimed at revamping the economy, enhancing security, and promoting education, specifically mentioning the introduction of student loans (NELUND) and efforts to make petrol prices more competitive. He urged Nigerians to support the President's initiatives to ensure their success.


Hon. Bosun Oladele also advocated for support for President Tinubu's administration, emphasizing teamwork's importance in achieving national development. Additionally, he expressed his constituents' desire for him to return to the National Assembly, citing the rotational principle.


With his extensive experience as a lawyer, former Commissioner for Information in Oyo State, former House of Representatives member, and Secretary-General of SWAGA, Hon. Bosun George Oladele is well-positioned to provide leadership and vision. He expressed confidence in his ability to deliver, assuring his constituents that he won't let them down.
