Jagaban Cup 25": Opening Day Matches With Goal Rush!

The opening day of the esteemed Jagaban Cup at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, featured an impressive total of 13 goals across four matches.


In the early match at 7 am, the highly regarded Ikorodu City suffered a 2-0 defeat against 36 Lion.


FC Bethel and Broad City played to an exciting 1-1 draw in their encounter.


The third match showcased a thrilling contest between SGFC and Ijebu United, with SGFC emerging victorious with a score of 3-2.



The final match of the day saw Imperial decisively defeat Dino SC with a score of 3-1.


Joel Ashaku was named Man of the Match for his two goals, while Bashir Adbulkareem also contributed to the scoreline. Stephen Shedrack managed to score a consolation goal for Dino.


With the absence of an offside rule, spectators can anticipate even more goals in tomorrow's matches, starting at 7 am at the Legacy Pitch.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present.
