The Management of the University of Ilorin has announced the launch of its online television channel named UnilorinTV. This announcement was contained the University’s weekly bulletin.

According to the Bulletin, The University of Ilorin's highly anticipated television station, UNILORIN TV, officially commenced transmission on YouTube last Monday (January 27, 2025), marking a significant milestone in the history of the institution.

In a warm welcome address to viewers, the Chairman of the UNILORIN TV Committee, Prof. Saudat S. Abdulbaqi, assured the viewers of a rich blend of entertainment and educational programming, promising "undiluted" content that would cater to diverse tastes and interests.

With its debut on YouTube, UNILORIN TV is poised to become a leading platform for showcasing the University's academic excellence, research innovations, cultural richness, and community engagement

Members and friends of the University are urged to stay tuned for exciting updates, insightful discussions, and captivating entertainment from UNILORIN TV!

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present.
