Unilorin 1984 Set of Medical Graduates Donate Multimillion Naira Teaching Aid

 

 


The 1984 set of Medical Graduates of the University of Ilorin has donated a multimillion naira Virtual Anatomy Dissection Table (ANATOMAGE) to the University's College of Health Sciences. The donation was made to enhance the teaching and learning of Anatomy.

 

The Class Captain and Coordinator of the set, Dr. Ebun Bangboye, expressed gratitude to the University for the impact it had on them during their student days. He noted that UNILORIN graduates are excelling globally, citing examples of their achievements in various countries.

 

Dr. Bangboye explained that the Virtual Anatomy Dissection Table was chosen for its immense value in enhancing the learning experience for medical students. He expressed hope that the equipment would still be in use ten years from now.

 

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, thanked the donors for their thoughtful gesture. He encouraged other alumni to emulate their example, emphasizing the importance of remembering the institution that contributed to their success.

 

The Head of the Department of Anatomy, Prof. Ayokunle Olawepo, described the donated equipment as a landmark achievement for the University, noting that it is only the third of its kind in the country.
