Hon. Bosun Oladele Commiserates With Oyo APC On Omodewu’s Death

A former lawmaker who represented Irepodun, Oorelope, and Olorunsogo Federal Constituency in the 8th National Assembly; Hon. Bosun George Oladele, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Barrister Isaac  Ajiboye Omodewu, the  Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.


Barrister Omodewu who died   in the United States of America after a brief illness at the age of 61 was described as a perfect gentleman who served the party to the best of his ability in the midst of varying challenges. 

“I was shocked to hear of his sudden death as I wasn’t aware he had any health challenge before now despite serving together in the Late Gov. Ajimobi’s cabinet in Oyo State”.

     

   

He said the Chairman's death will create a great vacuum especially at this time that the party is in the process of rediscovering its unity.       

  

  

Hon. Oladele, a Barrister at law  in a condolence message, described Omodewu as a "political bridge builder and a unifying force" who worked tirelessly to build and strengthen the APC in Oyo State.

    

The SWAGA  National Secretary who hailed from Olorunsogo local Government in Oyo state stressed further that "Omodewu's achievements as APC Chairman were remarkable, especially in the process leading to Asiwaju Tinubu’s emergence at the APC primaries and eventual victory at the Presidential polls."His legacy will continue to inspire us, and we will miss him dearly" he noted.

    

The Oyo State former Commissioner for information, Oladele state said the deceased was committed to people's empowerment, youths progress and general party members' welfare  

  

    

He prayed to the Almighty God to console his immediate and APC family and give them all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,May his soul rest in peace, the statement concluded.
