  Couples Counselled to Make God Their Foundation 







A man of God Pastor Niyi Ọshìn has advised both married and intending couples to make God the foundation of their homes. 

   

These words of admonition were made on Saturday by a man of God Pastor Niyi Ọshìn of Christ United Mission Headquarters, Asa Dam Ilorin during the introduction ceremony of  Samson Adeoye and Temilola Emmanuel which was held at Checkpoint,  Airport Ilorin. He said a marriage built on the foundation of God will stand firmly for life.


Pastor Ọshìn said the devil is an enemy of marriage having  some evil  people as agents but with God, nothing will affect the  marriage based on God's foundation 

   

He stressed further that marriage was instituted by God,  and the manual for married men and women's guidance is Holy Bible. He emphasized that obedience to God will open ways where the devil wants to create a barrier.

    

In his comment during the ceremony, the bride's father,  Mr. Sunday Taiwo Emmanuel, a native of  Agbor in Delta state thanked the family of the groom from Aran Orin ìn Kwara state for their love for the family.   He prayed further that other programmes of the marriage will be fulfilled and perfected by God.   It was a great outing as people came from far and wide among them are Hon. Femi Ajide Former Councillor and Supervisory Councilor Irepodun Local Government Kwara state, Alhaji Idris Alooma, GM Unilorin FM, Mr. Samuel Taiwo Emmanuel, the mother of the bride Mrs. Elizabeth Toosin Emmanuel, Amechi Emmanuel, Mrs. Folakemi Ibrahim, and Mr. Olusogo Emmanuel who joined from the United Kingdom through zoom.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place.
