A one-time former President of the Congress of NOUN Students (CoNS) Com. Adekola Tijani Adewoyin has rejoice with the Christian community of the NOUN students on the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.


Com. Adewoyin made the congratulation in a statement he issued on Sunday evening and made available to newsmen.

Seasons Greetings!!!


I rejoice with all Nigerians,  especially our Christian brothers and sisters, on the joyous occasion of this year’s Christmas.


On this occasion of the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, let us all rededicate ourselves to the virtues of peace, love, honesty, justice, equity, piety, humility and service to others which he taught. 


There can be no doubt that a greater manifestation of these virtues and ideals in our lives will immensely help us to become a more united, peaceful, secure, and progressive nation.


Let us also reach out in love and compassion to fellow Nigerians who are in distress at this period of our nation’s history.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present. Badawiy has been banned for two years from all Lagos Stadia and LSFA related activities following a security breach and unethical behavior during the Federation Cup final against Abakaliki FC.
