Abdulgafar Opeyemi has been a fantastic talent to watch as he made his mark for A Lyga side, Kauno Zalgaris in the Lithuania league.


Abdulgafar Opeyemi who can play as an attacking midfielder and on the right side of the midfield was instrumental and influential in Kauno Zalgaris's qualification to the Europa League.


The midfield maestro, who have the ability of long-range passing accuracy, defense-splitting passes, and also a good eye for goal.


The 20-year-old right-footed midfielder is the cynosure of all eyes in the Lithuania League making a mark for himself as one of the bright prospects in the A Lyga.


Abdulgafar Opeyemi is destined to make waves in the Europa League and so many top-flight clubs will be chasing for his signature because of his prospect and qualities.


Kauno Zalgaris finished as the second-best team in the Lithuania A Lyga with 63 points from 36 matches and scored a total of 55 goals and conceded 37 goals.

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present.
