 36 Lion Holds Scouting Competition Across Six West African countries 





It was fireworks galore in Conakry as Atuga Foot Academie edged out Academie Ema to lift the coveted West Africa Lion King Scouting Tournament.


The competition took place across six countries namely Nigeria, Benin Republic, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Gambia, and Togo.


Cem Sagar, Dan Smejkal, Sheku Sheriff, Miloslav Brozek, Ladi Salami, Hakkan Cantepe, Richard Opanuga, Bora Aydinay, Pedro Ayema, Femi Liadi, and Wale Joseph supported the tournament. 


19 players made the grade. The top talents selected are Joseph Ede (Nigeria), Peter Oluka (Nigeria), Ifesinachi Obiaku (Nigeria), Olayemi Olawunmi (Nigeria), Ope Oluwafemi (Nigeria), Kehinde Ibrahim (Nigeria), Uchenna Aririerisim (Nigeria), Sesan Ayodele (Nigeria), AbdulRasaq Popoola (Nigeria), Michael Anuobi (Nigeria), Ayodeji Alo (Nigeria), Samuel Kanu (Sierra Leone), Sullay Kamara (Sierra Leone), Rachid Moumini (Benin), Tessilimi Olatoundji (Benin), Mohamed Bangoura (Guinea), Ibrahima Mara (Guinea), Mohamed Soumah (Guinea) and Mamadi Cisse (Guinea). 


The development continues with proper monitoring to get the selected players to the apex.
