Jagaban Cup 2022: Olukismet's Coach, Atobaje Names 20-Man Squad for the Tournament

Olukismet's head coach Atobaje Oladeji has named a 20-man squad ahead of the 2022 Jagaban Cup.


“We have picked a strong team that should be able to perform well at the tournament in Lagos,” said Oladeji.


The squad is made up of two goalkeepers, seven defenders, six midfielders, and five attackers.


Fapounda Babatunde and Abdul Korede are the two goalkeepers. 


Also cutting are John Fred, Adewale Lawal, Gbenga Afolayan, Elanya Akonunju, Michael Yusuf,  Ibrahim Yebiboh, and Olorunfemi Sesan


Draws for Jagaban Cup will hold on Monday 14th November at National Stadium Surulere. The time is 2 pm.


The Jagaban Cup will hold from November 15th to 18th at Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present.
