SWAGA'23 Jubilates as Adepoju Becomes the New Post-Master General
The members and leaders of South-West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023; SWAGA’23 under the leadership of Senator Dayo Adeyeye have expressed their gladness at the latest appointment made by President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR into the office of the Post-Master General of the federation.
In a statement released by the National Secretary of the group and its media handler; Hon. Bosun Oladele, the National Chairman; Senator Dayo Adeyeye on behalf of the group commended the President for making a distinctive and informed choice in the appointment of Hon. Sunday Adepoju into the position at a critical period in the transformation and turn-around process of the Parastatal.
Hon. Sunday Adeyemi Adepoju was a two-term member of the House of Representatives who has distinguished himself with the quality representation of his people from Ido/Ibarapa Federal Constituency of Oyo State and he is currently a member of the National Working Committee of SWAGA’23 and the group’s Chairman in Oyo State.
According to Senator Dayo Adeyeye, “Hon. Adepoju is not only a perfect gentleman but a highly cerebral leader of his people, an astute professional Accountant, and a disciplined personality who has demonstrated his capacity and loyalty from when he served under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos State and the Nation through his representation at the National Assembly from 2011 - 2019. There is no doubt that the Nigeria Postal Service will benefit from his knowledge, administrative and legislative skills at this time.
We as his political family wish him resounding success in his tour of duty and service to the Nation”.
It will be recalled that Hon. Adepoju has been a founding member of SWAGA’23 since 2020 and has taken part in mobilizing support for the aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead Nigeria to come 2023.
