The Ilorin West Local Government All Progressive Congress(APC) Party Chairman, Hon. Sulaiman Tejidini has accepted the invitation of the ABUNDANT LIFE WOMEN ASSOCIATION(ALWA), Oko-Erin, to the Special Prayer in honour of the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq.


The event which comes up later today (Sunday) at Oko-Erin Primary School- B, by 2 pm, is expected to be graced by the Hon. Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon. Mopelola Abdulmaliq, SA Civic Engagements to the Governor, Hon. Atiku Bahinda Abdulsalam, SA Islamic, Alh. Ibrahim Danmaigoro and his Christian Religion counterpart, Rev. Timothy Oluwagbemiga Akangbe, amongst others.



While inviting Hon. Sulaiman Tejidini, the APC Ilorin West Local Government Chairman, to the event during a Courtesy Visit to him in his office, the Coordinator/ Founder of ALWA, Deaconess Veronica Efakwu (Iya Ibo), stated that her group is made up of predominantly nonindigenes around Okoerin, most of whom have been aggrieved over nonrecognition by the government until she met with the former TIC chairman of Ilorin West Local Government, Hon. Abdul-Hameed Oladipupo  Alli(Mr. Nigeria), who took it upon himself to reintegrate her group back into the system to the extent of helping them to get some gas cylinders from the Hon. Commissioner of Women Affairs, Hon. Mopelola Abdulmaliq, who recognised her contributions in the Otoge Struggle via the Kwara Must Change advocacy.


In his response, the party chairman commended the efforts of Mr. Nigeria in reintegrating aggrieved members back into the system and assured them of further support from the party and government.


Hon. Alli(Mr. Nigeria), who led the delegation said, his efforts are to correct the wrong impressions people have about the party and government, which has earned him the opportunity of facilitating ing return of some aggrieved members including the nonindigenes and decamping of some from another party to the ruling APC. He said that the way the Party Chairman welcomed the team was as good as the way they were received by the Okoerin Ward Chairman, Hon. Tajudeen Ademola(Baba Onigba) as well as the Alangua of Okoerin, Alh. Abdulmumin Jimoh received them with assurances that they will attend the event.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place.
