All roads lead to Oko Erin B Primary School, Oko Erin, Ilorin today Sunday 25 September 2022, at 2 pm, when the Abundant Life Women Association (ALWA), will be organising special prayers for the continued success of the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq and his final victory at the forthcoming general polls.


A statement signed by the fora's Coordinator/ Founder, Deaconess Veronica Efakwu, states that the Chairman of APC in Okoerin Ward, Mallam Tajudeen Ademola (Baba Onigba), has graciously accepted to grace the event and make a presentation of his ward executives felt.


Similarly, Deaconess Efakwu stated that the Alangua of Oko Erin, HRH, Alh. AbdulMumin Jimoh has agreed to grace the occasion as Father of the day, while Prof. Ibrahim Major of the Kwara State Police, is among the men of God to offer prayers at the gathering.


Furthermore, Efakwu was full of thanks for the roles played by a former TIC Chairman of Ilorin West Local Government, Hon. Abdul-Hameed Oladipupo Alli (Mr. Nigeria), whom she described as a true liver of the Governor and APC, given the efforts made to reintegrate the for a back for recognition. She said that his personal efforts in leading them to those who matter in society cannot be forgotten.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present.
