Journalists Wish Mr. Nigeria Quick Recovery
The ailing Publisher of Kwara People magazine and a former TIC Chairman of Ilorin West Local Government, Hon. Abdul-Hameed Oladipupo Alli,(Mr. Nigeria), has received a team of concerned journalists who paid him a QUICK RECOVERY Visit
at his irewolede residence in Ilorin.
A release signed by the Head of MR. NIGERIA NEW MEDIA DESK, Com. Ahmed Atere stated that the team of senior Journalists was led by Mr. Tunde Oyekola, the Kwara Bureau Chief of Punch Newspapers, and was made up of Mr. Olanrewaju, M. Abiodun, the General Manager of Diamond FM, Mr. Olaiwola Olanrewaju of the Sun Newspaper, Alh. Idris Aloma, General Manager of Unilorin FM, Hajia Fatima B.M. Lawal, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Jimoh Sulaiman, National Pilot, and Abdul Gafar, of Satcom Media amongst others.
Mr. Oyekola said that the journalists were on the visit to wish one of their own who has been slightly indisposed soonest and quick recovery.
Earlier in his introduction, the General Manager of Unilorin FM, Alh. Idris Alooma said that the leading journalists have come to commiserate with one of their own who has made the history of being the only journalist/ Publisher who has been in the media profession before joining active politics, who continued Publishing while serving as a TIC Chairman of Ilorin West Local Government, and who continues publishing even after leaving political office. He further described him as the only journalist who has given another journalist a car so far in history.
The host, Honourable Alli, thanked his visitors for deeming him fit to visit him like others who have come to wish him a quick recovery. He said that though such eminent personalities like the foremost elected female deputy governor in Nigeria, Hajia Ayanke Sinatu Ojikutu, the APC Ilorin West/Asa House of Representatives Candidate, Hon. Muktar Shagaya, younger sister to late General Tunde Idiagbon, Hajia Toyin Dare, Kwara State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon. Mopelola Abdulmaliq and the Commissioner for Business Enterprise, Hon. Ibrahim Akaje among others has either called or visited to wish him a quick recovery, he sees that of his senior and junior media colleagues as most valuable because it's seen more to be done in the spirit of comradeship.
