Dickalo Football Academy Open Screening Takes Center Stage in Ilorin

All is now set for the kick off of the  screening of players into a newly established Dickalo Football Academy, DFA in Ilorin, Kwara state, as Nigerian coaches ready to be part of the screening exercise. 


The Screening programme, which is expected to commence from 15th to 20th of July 2022, by 7am daily at ABBRAY SPORT FC field, Lower Niger River Basin, Ilorin, Kwara will be opened for only talented players between the age of 15 - 20 years. 


The academy has received entries from players, who has signified their interest in becoming super Star in nearest future. 


Dickalo Football Academy (DFA), a newly established academy under the leadership of Ach. Komolafe  Olubunmi Dickalo DFA has provided a standard accommodation for players coming outside Kwara state. 

The open screening exercise according to the organizing committee was aimed at building a well-structured platform for talented footballers in Nigeria and nurturing them to stardom.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present.
