CoNS Congress: Be a Law Abiding Citizens and Follow Rules, Bright Urges Participants

Ahead of the fast approaching elective congress of the umbrella body of National Open University of Nigeria students, Congress of National Open University of Nigeria Students (CoNS), the national president of the Congress, Com. Asangansi Bright Joe has enjoined participants taking parts in the congress to be law abiding citizens of Nigeria and also be good ambassadors of NOUN while the congress last.


Com. Asangansi gave this admonition in a congratulatory letter addressed to the participants, personally signed by himself and made available to the newsmen in Bayelsa on Thursday, 28th July, 2022. Com. Asangansi in the letter welcomed all delegates to the congress and pray for safe arrival of those still on their way to Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital. 


The CoNS President made it known that the national planning committee and the local planning committee of the congress had put in place arrangement that will make participants have a remarkable and colourful congress. 


He opined that all security agencies in the state have contacted and duely notified of the congress to provide security for life and properties of participants before, during and after the congress.


The CoNS President further warned participants not to engage in any acts that could disrupt the peaceful conduct during the congress. He stated that anybody caught by security agencies for illicit and horrible acts will be left to face the music. He however advised all participants to always be with their ID Cards to avoid mistake of identification.


The CoNS congress comes up on Saturday, 30th July, 2022 in Law Lecture Hall, Faculty of Law, Niger Delta University, Ovom, Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
