Dickalo Football Academy Set Open Screening Programme for Young Talented Footballers Across Nigeria

As part of its efforts to the buildwell-structured platform for talented footballers in Nigeria and nurture them to stardom Dickalo Football academy (DFA) has decided to do an open screening for talented footballers across Nigeria who dream of becoming a superstar in the nearest future. 


The open screening exercise according to the organizing committee aimed at buildingwell-structured a platform for talented footballers in Nigeria and nurturing them to stardom. 


The Screening programme, which is expected to commence from 15th to 19th of July 2022, between 8 am to 11 am daily at ABBRAY SPORTS FC field, Lower Niger River Basin, Ilorin, Kwara State will be opened for only talented players between the age of 15 - 20 years free of charge. 


Dickalo Football academy (DFA), a newly established academy under the leadership of Ach Komolafe  Olubunmi Dickalo DFA has provided standard hostel accommodation for players coming outside Kwara state. 



The selected players from the screening will be the academy player while a regular scouting program will be organized at regular intervals to expose their talents to the Nigerian Leagues and most especially foreign clubs.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present.
