As Muslim faithfuls across the globe celebrate the Eid-Il-Fitr festival which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan fasting, the Honourable member representing the good people of Oyo South Senatorial District in the Southern Youth Assembly of Nigeria (SYAN) Hon. Adekola Tijani Adewoyin has felicitated the Muslim faithful, especially the inhabitants of his constituency and Oyo State in general on the success of completion of 30 days of fasting, prayer, giving, showing love to neighbour and self-control in total compliance with commands of Almighty Allah.


Hon. Adewoyin congratulate the Islamic adherence for their perseverance, endurance and contentment which are what Ramadan signifies.


This was contained in a statement released in Ibadan on Monday and made available to newsmen by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Com. Olusola Hammed.


The vibrant and active your leader advised Muslim to continue to exhibit acts of kindness, self-control and having pity for and giving to the needy in their environment which are all part of lessons Ramadan has come to Muslims.


The former students leader also to Almight Allah to spare our lives to witness more Ramadan in this dunyah. 


The statement reads further, "on this blessed occasion, i wish that the Eid festival brings peace, brotherhood and love amongst all. May Almighty Allah make all our deeds and act of ibadah therein acceptable. May He increase you all in imaan. May He grant you all His Hidayah, As fit ah and Hifazah. 

May you have more of this privilege in sha'Allah.


May Allah Subhanahuwata’ala accept your Siyam, Qiyam, Sadaqah, Zakaah, and all your good deeds in this Blessed Month while it is departing from us and make you among the people of Jannah


May we leave Ramadan as purified souls with our hearts more attached to Allah Subhanahuwata’ala, His Book, His messenger ‎ﷺ and His religion.


Hon. Adewoyin used the occasion to advise Nigerian youth to prepare adequately for the 2023 and ready to be ready to participate actively by getting a permanent voters card (PVC), and join political parties of their choice to contest for elective posts. 


He noted that this is the only way the youth can take their own future into their hands and not by ranting or making noise on social media platforms.


Hon. Adewoyin also opined that it is high time youth take the leadership of the country if the country must move forward and develop to be at par with her peers on the world stage.

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place.
