APC Presidential Primary: SWAGA'23 Woos Delegates for Asiwaju

Ahead of the much anticipated APC Presidential primary coming up and in its drive to ensure that former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed emerges as the party's candidate, the South West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023 (SWAGA'2023) has started making moves to canvass and lobbying delegates to the primary to cast their votes for APC national leader to emerge the party's flag-bearer in the 2023 presidential polls.

Continuing with its mobilization efforts SWAGA’23 has started interfacing and consulting with Delegates on behalf of Asiwaju Tinubu towards the Presidential Primaries slated for 30th May 2022.

It will be recalled that the man of the moment himself, Tinubu has met with some sections of the delegates including the serving members of the House of Representatives, the senate, the delegates from various States where he has met with Governors and others.

However, according to Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, one of the leaders of the group said, “it is imperative to meet with our former principal officers of the State Houses of Assembly” who are not just delegates but are leaders in their own rights closer to the grassroots. It is on this note that the recent interface with the Oyo State members was embarked upon and this has yielded 98% positive response in support of our Principal and the next President of Federal Republic of Nigeria by God’s grace, H.E. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.

When contacted, the National Secretary of the group Hon. Bosun Oladele said the objective of the exercise is “let no delegate be left behind” hence the move.

SWAGA’23 is the foremost support group for Tinubu and has remained consistent in its activities since 2020.
