Italian Super Agent Raiola Announced By Italian Media .........As his Entourage Deny Death Rumour
According to several Italian media, Mino Raiola died on Thursday at the age of 54. His entourage denies it but says it at worst. The Italian is one of the most influential agents in the world of football.
The Italian press announced the death this Thursday of Mino Raiola, the agent of many football stars at the age of 54, according to information reported by journalist Tancredi Palmeri, then confirmed by Tuttosport, La Repubblica and La Gazzetta dello Sport. He had undergone emergency surgery at the beginning of the year due to a lung disease, then placed in intensive care. His condition had worsened in recent weeks. A Raiola representative, however, denied this information to the Dutch media NOS. José Fortes Rodriguez, his right-hand man, says the businessman is simply "in bad shape".
Flagship super-agent of the football world, Mino Raiola represents several stars, such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Marco Verratti, Erling Haaland or Paul Pogba. He had negotiated several major transfers during his career, like that of the French midfielder in 2016 at Manchester United for more than 105 million euros.
