Inauguration Novelty match: team AA Beats Kwara SESC by 2 - 1

It was fun galore at the Kwara State Stadium Complex on Friday as team AA defeated Kwara SESC by two goals to one in a novelty match to celebrate the inauguration of the Kwara Chapter of the Super Eagles Supporters Club.


Chairman of Kwara United, Kumbi Titiloye  opened the score for team AA from the spot before Akanbi Shuaib leveled up for the Eagles Supporters 


Coach Abdullahi Biffo of Kwara United through Penalty scored the winning goal for team AA to become Champions of the encounter.


It would be recalled that the Super Eagles Supporters Club was inaugurated as the 25th Chapter in the Country as an entity which aimed at Supporting the Country's national football teams in CAF & FIFA organised Competition.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present. Badawiy has been banned for two years from all Lagos Stadia and LSFA related activities following a security breach and unethical behavior during the Federation Cup final against Abakaliki FC.
