Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa was on target for Fatih Karagumruk in a thrilling contest as he inspired his team to beat Istanbul Basaksehir 1-2 to record an away victory in the Turkish Super League on Saturday.

The Nigerian International scored Karagumruk's second goal  in the 41st minutes after Fabio Borini's equaliser in the 39th minute 


Egyptian International, Ahmed Trezeguet on loan from English Premier League side , Aston Villa had opened the scoring in the 25th minutes much to e delight of the home side. 


The win put Fatih Karagumruk ninth on the League log  with 39 points from 27 games.


Ah, d Musa is expected to lead the Super Eagles squad s Nigeria aims to qualify for  the World Cup against the Black Stars of Ghana next  month.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present.
