As the debate on whether the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) will adopt direct or indirect for its primary elections continue to generate heat argument among the party faithfuls, supporters of the former Minister for Works, Prince Dayo Adeyeye have stated in strong terms that he is the right man that should succeed the incumbent Dr. Kayode Fayemi as the next Executive Governor of the state to ensure continuity of good governance.


The teeming supporters of former Minister of Works and current National Chairman, Southwest Agenda for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2023 Presidential ambition Prince Dayo Adeyeye has vowed that either direct or indirect primary the teeming APC members in  Ekiti are rooting for him to become APC candidate in the forthcoming  APC primary election coming up in few days in Ekiti state. They said they are optimistic that he would win the primary election of the APC to become the party's standard-bearer.

    



This testimonial was given during his intention to contest for Ekiti state governor was declared last week in Ado Ekiti the state capital of Ekiti state.

The cross-section of the loyalists of the highly connected and influential politician said that there was no method of primary election conducted that delegates won't vote massively for Prince Dayo Adeyeye.

   





The cross-section of the followers said either direct or indirect primary, the delegates would vote for him. They said that the Ekiti people are enlightened and they know the quality of Prince Dayo Adeyeye and this is the time to have him as the governor of Ekiti state for more human capital developments and massive construction of infrastructures.

 


In his own remarks during the declaration Prince Adedayo Adeyeye said if he is elected to govern the state, Ekiti will witness unprecedented developments, he said politics is about the experience, exposure, love of the people, and fear of God.

   

He opined that his declaration to contest for the number one position in Ekiti state was based on how much he is concerned about the people's welfare.

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.
