As the countdown to the commencement of the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations begins, the twenty-four teams taking part in the biennial tournament have started releasing their squads for the greatest football showpiece on the continent.


A look at Morocco's provisional squad shows that a mix of African and European based players are to fight for a shirt in star-studded squad players plying their trades in not only in the top five European leagues but are also playing top teams that are taking part in either UEFA Champions League or Europa League
