6th Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup: Pokwangli United, Oska United in Dream Final as Samba Boys Battle Balanga LGA Team for the Bronze Medal

The stage is all set for the grand finale of the biggest football tournament in Gombe :the Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup with two final debutants, Pokwangli United and Oska United slugging out to claim the top diadem on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 at the Billiri Township Stadium, Billiri, Gombe state by 3.00pm. 


The 6th edition of the tournament will feature two Kaltungo LGA teams in the final and they will 3.00 pmattle for supremacy and will hope to pocket the N700,000 cash reward at stake.


To qualify for the final, Pokwangli United defeated Samba Boys 3-1 while Oska United beat Balanga LGA Team 2-0 in the semi-final games played on Monday.


Before the final game, Balanga LGA Team will trade tackles with Samba Boys in the third place game by 1.00pm. Balanga LGA Team with l hopes to go one better this term after placing fourth last year.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place.
