6th Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup: Eddy-X Thrill Fans, Players and Dignitaries at Open Ceremony

Upcoming Nigerian artist Jibrin Bappa Wayas also known as Eddy-X, energize the atmosphere at the opening ceremony cum kick-off of the 6th Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup today at the Olusegun Obasanjo Stadium, Kaltungo as from 3:00pm.


Eddy-X, is a hip-hop/R n B singer; a native of Kaltungo LGA and a final year Sociology student of University of Maiduguri, Borno state.


Eddy-X joined the entertainment industry as a choreographer, but later switched gear to a performing music artist in 2015, dropping mind blowing songs like "Hoping for good" the same year 2015 and the hit song "Arewa" that punched the Beat collaboration IHM Awards in 2016, with so much recognition in the state and beyond.


There's no doubt, the atmosphere at Olusegun Obasanjo Stadium, Kaltungo, this afternoon will be full of energy laced with electrifying action.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present.
