2021/22 Season: ABS FC of Ilorin to Resume for Preparation Ahead of New Season

Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC of Ilorin, will resume for preparations ahead of new 2021/2022 NNL season on Monday, Nov. 29.



The club in a statement by its Coordinator, Malik Olasunkanmi, said the players are given until Sat. Nov. 27, to return to Ilorin and use from that day to Sunday to get used to the town again before Monday's resumption.



The statement said all technical staff and the players are expected to report to the Main Bowl of the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin from 10am on Monday.



The ABS Coordinator, wished all the players and staff a safe journey back to the state of Harmony as they set to go into the new season with a renewed mission.



Olasunkanmi thanked the players and the staff for their doggedness and dedication even as he wished for more this time around.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place.
