Ogunjobi Gold Cup: Small Charges MFM FC and Remo Stars to go for the Cup

Nigerian Afro-Pop recording artist and performer Adekunle Temitope, better known as Small Doctor on stage has urged both Remo Stars and MFM FC to win the 9th edition of the Ogunjobi Gold Cup pre-season tournament holding in Ikenne and Sagamu.


The 'Omo Iya Teacher' was a surprise guest at the Remo Stars Stadium venue of the high-profile Southwest derby.


Small Doctor before the kickoff of the game exchange pleasantries with players and coaches of both teams as he urged them to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship.



Fans in their numbers at the stadium cheered on the Afro-Pop star who watched the first half of the game before leaving to attend to other personal engagements.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present.
