Ottasolo Pre-season Tourney: Tournament Good for Ottasolo FC NNL Preparation

The Chairman of Nigeria National League side, Ottasolo FC, and the financier, Ottasolo Pre-season Tournament, Gabriel Davies has stated the upcoming tournament will help prepare his team for the rigor of life in the NNL.

Davies, a former footballer himself who played for Stationery Stores, Mogas '90 among others before he delved into business revealed that

he is thrilled with the prospect of his club, Ottasolo FC facing some of the top Nigeria Professional Football League teams during the tournament.

Ottasolo FC took part in a pre-season tournament in Port Harcourt involving Rivers United, Lobi Stars, MFM, and others despite being in the Nigeria Nationwide League then, and they gave a good account of themselves.

It was based on this premise that Davies feels the Ottasolo Pre-season Tournament will further strengthen his team now that they will be campaigning in the NNL when the season kicks off.

"Part of the reasons why I agreed to sponsor this pre-season tournament Is to ensure Ottasolo FC has quality friendly games to play that will further show their true depth before the start 9f the NNL season," Davies told Ottasolo Pre-season Media.

"With the prospect of my team playing against Shooting Stars, MFM, Sunshine Stars among others, the games will give Ottasolo FC the needed motivation and willpower to be better prepared for the NNL season.

"We are putting all resources and effort into this pre-season to ensure it is a success. All teams taking part will have a level playing field. We are looking forward to it with excitement, poise, and eagerness."

It will be recalled that Ottasolo FC picked the NNL ticket after beating their opponents from the Ilorin center.
