Engr. Musa Nimrod Reelected President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation

The Secretary-General of Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) Zone 3, Engineer Musa Nimrod has been re-elected President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation.


The elections took place at the indoor Gymnastics hall of MKO Abiola Stadium, Package B in Abuja.


Nimrod has promised to work together with every board member and stakeholder to take the game of volleyball to the promised land.


The North West Representative on the NVBF board revealed that his board will continue to promote volleyball and partner with relevant individuals and the private sector.


Nimrod said, "It is time for everyone on the board to put their differences and focus on how the game of volleyball will grow.


"I cannot do it alone, I need the support of every member of the board to take volleyball to the promised land".


Engineer Musa Nimrod defeated Mallam Alhassan Yakmut by 11-0 votes at the indoor hall of MKO Abiola Stadium Package B in Abuja.

Kwara United GM Badawiy Banned for Two Years from Lagos Stadia

The Lagos State Football Association board has swiftly acted to address a blemish on the otherwise impeccable organization of the 2025 President Federation Cup finals, which took place last Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. During the highly charged final match between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United, it was observed that the General Manager of the victorious Kwara United, Mr. Bashir Badawiy, violated the stringent security measures in place. He made reckless attempts to run and celebrate in front of the five state governors seated in the VVIP section of the stadium, thereby jeopardizing their safety as well as that of other prominent dignitaries and industry leaders present.
