 Plateau State Super League: Former Champions, Learning FC lead Shendam and Datyem To The Quarter Finals As Battle For The Round Of 8 Tickets Ends Today



Two second-half goals by Alex Danzox and Lious Dadong in the 52nd and 65th minutes respectively were more than enough to qualify Learning football club to the quarter-finals of the 2021 Plateau State Super League, beating Golden Boys football club 2-1.

Auwal Bello got the only goal for the boys from Barkin Ladi in the 62nd minute.


In the second match of the day, Shendam United FC defeated Yelwa Casava FC 1-0 to make the last 8.

Obed Ponkap netted the important goal for Shendam United.


The last match of the day between Datyem United of Langtang North and The Growers FC of Mikang local government area lived up to its billing as the handful of football fans on the ground were not disappointed.

It took some dying minutes goal by Richard Philip to end the keenly contested Round of 16 encounters 1-0 in favour of Datyem FC.

It ended Datyem United 1, The Growers FC 0.


The battle for the Round of 8 tickets continues today as 2006/2007 Champions, Jazzy Stars Football Academy takes to the field by 10 am to entertain Samscyon FC.
