NWFL Championship Update: Naija Ratels Begin Quest for Premiership Ticket
Highly rated NWFL Championship club, Naija Ratels will begin their quest to qualify for the elite NWFL Premiership as they battle against experienced Heartland Queens of Owerri in the opening game of Day 2 of the NWFL Championship.
The battleground is the Aguiyi Ironsi Sports Complex, Abuja.
Naija Ratels FC was on bye on Wednesday as Adamawa Queens
shot to the top of the table after Day One with a 2-0 win over Gallant Queens, to amass the first three points of the Championship. In the second game of the day, Kwara Ladies played a 1-1 draw with Heartland Queens.
The NWFL Secretariat on Wednesday evening gave additional information on the disqualification of the Kaduna Queens Fc from the NWFL Championship.
The NWFL Chief Operating Officer, Modupe Shabi, revealed that Kaduna Queens was actually knocked out of the NWFL Championship because of the failure to provide their players' medical records aside from other club registration and Licensing violations.
