Plateau State Super League: The FA Oldest League Finally Kicks Off With Former Champions in the Thick Of Things
After an endless wait, the Plateau State Super League is finally back as grassroots club sides on the Plateau battle themselves out to know who emerges champions and pick the sole ticket to represent the State at the NLO Division 3 playoff.
The first match of this year's Super League will today see newcomers, Gee-Lec International FA and Delux FA, both in Group A, lock horns by 22 pm at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium.
By 4 pm, 2006/2007 champions, Jazzy Stars Football Academy will entertain Tudun Wada Football Academy.
thirty-three teams registered for this year's edition, and paired into six groups, including former champions, Learning Fc(2005/2006) in Group C, Jazzy Stars FA(2006/2007) in Group F, and Faith Alive Fc(2007/2008) in Group B.
Matches continue tomorrow in Jos, at the Rawang Pam Township Stadium and the Langtang Mini Stadium.
